Dr Angel Centeno graduated in 1979, and after he completed his residency in internal medicine, he earned a doctorate in medical education.
He has been twice a Robert Petersdorf Scholar in Residence at the AAMC, and is currently Director of the Department of Biomedical Education at Austral University in Buenos Aires.
He has been the founder and editor in chief of the Argentinian Review in Medical Education.
Full professor of Internal Medicine, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and Inaugural Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (FAMEE)
Dr Centeno has a strong experience in accreditation nationally and internationally.
His main interests are graduate medical education, faculty development and scholarship in medical education.
