Isadora Gutekunst (née Almendras) holds an M.D. from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Isadora is a former intern of the WFME, at the Ferney-Voltaire office, where she contributed updating the World Directory of Medical Schools and conducted research on key issues linked to medical education in Latin American countries and the Caribbean.
During her time at University of Buenos Aires she was actively involved in the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), serving as Vice president for external affairs of IFMSA Argentina and attending to various international meetings. She also served as a teaching assistant and research scholar at the University seeking to promote a wider involvement of students in the learning processes.
Isadora is now living in Stuttgart, Germany, where she pursues her specialist career in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
