Dr Ahmed Al Rumayyan

President of the Association for Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (AMEEMR)

Dr Ahmed Al Rumayyan obtained his MBBS certification at King Saud University, Riyadh (1989); Residency training in Canada (1993-1996); Certified Pediatrics Canada FRCPC (1996), American Academy in Pediatrics USA FAAP (1996); Pediatric Neurology Fellowship Canada (2000); Fellowship Electroencephalography & Epilepsy Canada (2001); Master Degree Medical Education Saudi Arabia (2010); PhD Medical Education The Netherlands (2020).

Academic appointment: Assistant Professor (2005-2017) and Associate Professor, (2017-date), Paediatrics, COM, KSAU-HS, Riyadh. He held the administrative position of Associate Dean, Academic & Student Affairs, (2010-2014) and Dean, College of Medicine, KSAU-HS (2014-date).

Dr Al Rumayyan is involved in various committees at the COM-R and actively involved in research and publications.
