Liaison Officer, Medical Education Issues, International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA)
Ms. Mădălina Elena Mandache is a 5th-year medical student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania with four years of experience in the field of student advocacy and medical education on a national, regional, and international level. She currently serves as Liaison Officer for Medical Education Issues at the International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA), representing 1.3 million medical students from 131 countries. Throughout her years of activity in the IFMSA, she has shown interest in Accreditation and Quality Assurance of medical schools, Social Accountability in Medical Education, Interprofessional Education and Patient Involvement in Medical Education as well as her dedication towards Meaningful Student Engagement and Advocacy. Mădălina is currently working on areas including the Global Health Workforce Crisis, Open Science, and Global Health Education within IFMSA, and she aims to pursue a medical education career after graduation.
