The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) wishes to share a joint statement calling for immediate end to war in Ukraine and critical need to prevent nuclear escalations.

Signatories of this statement include the International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA) and the World Medical Association (WMA), two members of the WFME Executive Council.

These two organisations represent doctors, public health professionals and medical students worldwide and they call for an immediate cease fire and the withdrawal of all invading and occupying military forces.
