New President of the Association for Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean

Dr Ahmed Al Rumayyan was elected as the President of AMEEMR at a recent meeting of the AMEEMR Executive. Dr Al Rumayyan is Dean of the College of Medicine at the King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh. WFME is very pleased to welcome him to the WFME Executive Council.

He follows Professor Ibrahim Al Alwan who had been President of AMEEMR for ten eventful and productive years, and a much valued member of the WFME Executive Council.
