The Executive Council of WFME agreed, at its meeting in Istanbul in April 2014, to endorse the student exchange programmes that have been managed by the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations continuously since 1951. The Executive Council agreed that these programmes are very professionally organised, with good academic outcomes, and are commended to medical schools world-wide.
The Executive Council renewed that endorsement at its meeting in Cairo in March 2015.
