Three accrediting agencies have been awarded Recognition Status by the World Federation for Medical Education:
- National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions (NCQAAETI) in Libya
- National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges (NCAMC) in Iraq
- Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in Pakistan
The agencies have been recognised for the full term of 10 years.
