The papers supporting the WFME Recognition of Accreditation Programme are under regular review, and a revision of the Recognition Criteria that an accrediting agency must meet has been posted on the WFME website.

The main change in these revised document is that the Criteria have been put in a more logical order, and for clarity the Criteria are individually numbered.

Accrediting agencies entering the Recognition Programme should now use the revised Criteria.  Agencies already in process of assessment may choose either to continue to work with the existing Criteria, and to be assessed against them, or to use the new Criteria.  WFME will contact each agency already in process of assessment to discuss their choice.

The other papers relating to the Recognition Programme are in course of revision, and will be made public as soon as possible, probably in March.
